There are many situations in which decompression will happen. First, mechanical problems such as outflow valve malfunction may cause decompression. There are many ways we can judge whether depressurization occurs or not. If the instruments indicated abnormal cabin pressure differential，there is depressurization. If the cabin rate of climb has red-lined, there is depressurization. If the cabin altitude is rising fast, there is depressurization.
