It can reduce pilot’s workload, increase the performance of the aircraft, ensure the flight safety. But the pilots may become too dependent on the automation system. Once the automation system is inoperative, pilots may not know how to control the aircraft.优点：减轻飞行员工作负荷，提升飞机性能，保障飞行安全；缺点：飞行员可能过度依赖自动化系统，一旦系统失效，可能无法正常操纵飞机。

In today’s civil aviation, the pilot is more like a manager. Because the automation system helps the pilots to control the aircraft. Pilots only need to monitor and manage these systems. I think pilot is too dependent on automated systems nowadays.如今民航中，飞行员更像 “管理者”—— 自动化系统协助操纵飞机，飞行员仅需监控和管理这些系统。我认为目前飞行员对自动化系统存在过度依赖。

As far as I know, those systems are very reliable. Because each of them has one or two backup systems. If one system is inoperative, we can switch to another one.据我所知，这些系统可靠性很高。因为每个系统都有 1-2 个备份系统，若主系统失效，可切换至备份系统。
